Athens Food Tours is here to be your heart’s compass, as far as local food goes anyway. Join us as we venture off-the-beaten-path to much-loved locally owned eateries and markets for samples of delicious specialties. The Athens Food Tour Company connects you with the restaurants, shops and farms who are serving up local ingredients in style. We’ll offer a glimpse into the past and living history of Athens music, architecture and lifestyles as we walk the town, visit restaurants and speak with local restaurant owners, chefs and farmers about their story.

Our tours are arranged by neighborhoods: Normaltown, Prince Avenue Corridor, Downtown and Five Points. We explore one neighborhood per tour, with a bonus visit to the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and Tuesday Evenings. An easy city walking pace accompanies these three hour tours, as well as rests at each eatery making tours suitable for all fitness levels.
