Athens Food Tours visits locally owned organic and sustainable farms of Georgia via bicycle! During our interactive, educational and tasty bicycle farm tours, we ride our bikes anywhere from 35-100 miles with stop-offs at the best farms in the state for tours and tastes. See where your food comes from and connect with the growing process.
Offering these farm tours during the spring, summer and fall of each year allows us to see how the changing seasons affect the plants, animals and the people who care for them. Each season's tour will feature different farms central to the Athens and Atlanta areas. Get your bike, gear and camera ready to join the fun!
Don't have a bike but want to participate? Rent one from Georgia Cycle Sport in Athens for $25/day. Call (706) 549-2453
If you are a farmer or know a farmer that could be part of these farm tours, contact us.
