Georgia Traveler features Athens' local farmers!

Anderson Farms Pigs, as featured on Georgia Traveler!We are so proud of Benji Anderson of Anderson Farms. Last year we recieved a call from Benji asking us to come tour his farm and check out what they are doing in hopes of breaking into Athens' locally grown market. Now, not even a year later, Benji has hooked up with Moonshine Meats, Farm 255 and is on TV! 

Another of our favorite local farms, Roots Farm is featured by Georgia Traveler too! You can find Roots Farm stand at the Athens Farmer's Market on Saturdays in Bishop Park April-December. Come on one of our Farmer's Market Tours and we'll introduce you to Roots Farm + other local farmers and enjoy tastes of seasonal veggies, baked goods & other goodies.
